Steve Job's death left me in shock. I couldn't believe he passed away just 1 day after the launch of the new iPhone. One may think that this is just destiny, and a legend always dies at a time out of expectation. Thinking about all the genius around, they must have been through a lot of difficulties and obstacles, every day is a battle. That is TOUGH, extremely tough. But their attitudes keep the journey fun and enjoyable. I don't think I can have that attitude >"< Still I need to learn.
There is one course in my school program named Careers Orientation, in which we are oriented about finding a suitable job, preparing writing the CV (and they check our CV as well), being equipped with necessary skills, and doing mock interviews. I've been attending some sessions, and they advise me to ACT NOW, have a PLAN now. But unfortunately I've done nothing so far. All the things related to accommodation have made me stressed out. Hopefully in the couple of forthcoming weeks, I can settle down and start my job hunting.
A few weeks ago, I watched the Inside Job (2010), a documentary film about the collapse of the banking systems in the US during 2008, and found out some new things that I've never read in any book before. They were the greed and banking practices that were lobbied by activists who work in the US's banking industry that make the world economy this bad now. The film was informative and worth spending time watching. These days, in Wall Street there are economic riots occupying the street... There's a link between the crisis and these kinda riots. It is true that 1% who work on the Wall Street earn most of the money and the remaining 99% who don't and they have to suffer the consequences that were caused by that 1%. It is really unfair. Obama is still trying to work on a new law that forces that 1% to pay more tax. Capitalism is on its verge of crisis, and this is the time to look back to the philosophy of how the world works.
There are just so many things that I need to think about...
